There will be a Henna Workshop at the Orchard Mesa branch July 2nd at 3:30 for teens only(12-18). We talk about the art of Mehndi and apply henna, while viewing the Bollywood film "Bride and Prejudice." Books will also be featured that deal with India, the Middle East, and Mehndi. How smooth(ie) are you?

This summer the branch libraries are having Iron Chef competitions. I will be visiting each branch and host a smoothie-making competition. Teens will be divided into groups of three and assigned a blender. Each group will use different bases and fruits to create their own smoothie masterpiece.
