AUTHORS EVERYWHERE!

During the month of October take advantage of the Skype Interviews at the branch libraries (check out the dates and authors below). Skype is a free, downloadable program, which allows us to video chat with authors from across the United States. Hopefully, these authors will inspire you to write a novel of your own in November, which is National Novel Writing Month. Join me for the National Novel Month challenge by signing-up at http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/. As a young writier you may set your own word count, but I will be aiming for the 50,000 mark (yikes!).

-October 1st, 4pm at the De Beque Branch- Carrie Ryan, author of The Forest of Hands and Teeth and Dead-Tossed Waves

-October 8th, 4pm at the Palisade Branch- Saundra Mitchell, author of Shadowed Summer and Vespertine (not yet published)

-October 12th, 3pm at the Clifton Branch- Jackson Pearce, author of Sisters Red and As You Wish

-October 14th, 3pm at the Fruita Branch- Carrie Ryan, author of The Forest of Hands and Teeth and Dead-Tossed Waves

-October 20th, 3:15pm at the Central Branch- Carrie Ryan, author of The Forest of Hands and Teeth and Dead-Tossed Waves

-October 26th, 4pm at the Orchard Mesa Branch- Jennifer Brown, author of The Hate List

What a list! These interviews are great for fans and teens interested in writing. I hope to see you at one of these interviews:)
